Challenges & Solutions for HEV & PHEV Diagnostics

This presentation discusses one of the biggest challenges in OBD and that is the emergence of HEV and PHEVE. With an estimate of Hybrids representing 50% of the passenger cars and LD by 2020 and of those 20% will represent mild-HEV, full-HEV, and PHEV and 6% representing EV the topics of discussion for this presentation is Powertrain electrification and the need for these vehicles to solve diagnosis for plant protection, for fuel consumption (CO2), for emission (HC< CO< NOx, PM ...), for safety and finally for high voltage.
