R & D of Electric Drivetrain Technologies

In FY2010, Nissan will introduce a new hybrid powertrain that uses one electric motor, two clutches and a conventional transmission. This configuration has potential for excellent fuel economy and low cost. Nissan also intends to become a leader in electric vehicles, which will play a significant role in CO2 reduction.
