International Standards Development and Unification for PHEV Lithium Ion Batteries

This talk will examine traditional issues related to international standards development efforts for PHEV lithium ion batteries from a historical and forward looking. Prevailing thought will be examined with regard to various national and regional efforts, particularly in China, Japan, Korea, Europe and the United States. PHEV Li-ion battery related efforts of ISO will be will be explored in terms of current standards development and overlap with the national and regional work.
