Herbert E. Everss President Global EMERGENT, Inc. Herbert Everss is a founding member and President of Global EMERGENT, an automotive strategic business development company. Everss' career includes 40 years of international experience in the automotive industry, with concentrated expertise in new business development with companies new to the North American auto industry. His proven management skills and experienced insight has lead Global EMERGENT in celebrating eight years of success by providing services to a number of organizations such as SAE International, MBtech, State of Kentucky, Rostra Precision Controls, Navistar, CST Corporation, IAV, Inc. and Siemens PLM Software.. His work with SAE also includes his position as the Director of Business Development for ARi, a business group of SAE International, which provides Industry Experts to the Automotive Sector.  Thus, expanding the careers of SAE members & maintaining the knowledge base, of early retirees, for specific projects to the Industry. He is a former VP of Sales for Siemens Automotive, VP of sales and program management for Kautex/Textron, N.A.  And lastly, before founding Global EMERGENT, he was President and CEO, Mannesmann VDO, and instrumental in establishing an industry identity for the supplier through a strategic marketing campaign. He also streamlined European and U.S. business units and directed the company's resource allocation, increasing efficiency and overall sales. Everss earned a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University, and attended the MBA program at the University of Detroit.
